New Bed Framework

Back to the basics of framework!  This is the beginning of the framework that attaches the welding bed to the truck frame.  Alot of measuring and precise placement is key!  Both of which Jason is very good at doing.

Well you can't have everything go exactly as you planned as these pictures show!!  The welding machine started spraying oil out the side!  So, Jason had to stop the framework and become a mechanic!

Two hours later and a visit to Jason's parent's house for parts, the welding machine is fixed!! Thanks Dad, you saved the day!

Now, it's back to work!

Both side beams are in place and now to bolt them down!

Alright, now it is time for a cold beer break!!  Much needed break!

The daylight is closing in so time to get back to work!  Now, for the back framework.

And there you have it!  It's time to call it a day!  Jason got a lot accomplished!

It's off the truck! And For Sale!!

This bed was built 6 years ago by Jason and I while we were dating!! I think he was checking out how good of worker I could be!  But, we did everything but paint it!  Now, it is For Sale!!  Tell your welding friends!! The price is negotiable!  Just give Jason a call!

Removal of old welding bed

Well, the New Year has begun and Jason has started on his new welding bed!  But first he had to remove the old welding bed!  It took a lot of work and doing it by himself wasn't easy! I took all the pictures to record this journey!
